This stand globe has been specially developed for schools. A school globe must be informative (current cartography with physical map image in unlit state and political map image in lit state), pragmatic in handling (stable in everyday school life and yet mobile thanks to the 4 castors) and of course robust (chrome-plated tubular steel frame). The DP 50 Erika school globe fulfils these criteria. The advantage of a free-standing globe over a table globe is that it can be placed anywhere in the classroom. In practical use in the classroom, this globe impresses with its two-axis system. In addition to horizontal rotation, it can also be rotated vertically for better viewing of the southern hemisphere. Its sans serif font is clear and legible in block letters.
