The ITB Berlin BookAwards have been presented since 2002. They recognise outstanding journalistic works and achievements in the field of tourism. (Source Wikipedia).
We are therefore delighted that the National Geographic Fusion 3701 Executive globe won the 2022 BookAward in the "Maps, Atlases, Globes, Knowledge" category on 26 January 2022.
This globe is hand-laminated by Räthgloben in Leipzig under licence from National Geographic. Its English-language map image, in an antique style, shows our earth with the current political country borders. This globe creates a warm and cosy atmosphere when it is illuminated. The National Geographic cartography is unique in its presentation. We have prepared an animation for you which you can rotate and enlarge with the mouse.
