Hand-laminated globes from Räthgloben and National Geographic (German production)

Globes have been hand-laminated in Leipzig since 1917. Then as now, this traditional craft technique is practised and the knowledge and craftsmanship is passed down from generation to generation. Our video was made in late summer 2020 at Räthgloben in Leipzig, where the globes of the National Geographic and Räthgloben brands are hand-laminated.
