Floor-standing globe, illuminated DFN 3704 - Ø 37 cm

This globe is an elegant design object. The globe rotates freely and sits on a slightly curved column made of chrome-plated steel, which is anchored in a dark wooden base. Wood is a natural material, so each base has its own individual grain. The special shape and overall height of 120 cm allow this globe to float in space.

A world from two perspectives.
Physical map image - you can see the nature of the earth's surface in daylight or in an unlit atmosphere.
Political map - the individual countries are in the foreground. Each country and its borders are shown in individual colours. This map image appears as soon as the globe is switched on. These colour harmonies impressively show how diverse and individual the cultures and their people are.
