Thesurface of Earth´s closest neighbor in the solar system has been mapped sice antiquity, but never with the fi delity that NASA´s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has provided. Thousands of photos from the spacecraft were stitched togesther into a mosaic of the surface.
